BIOGRAPHY
Carl Michael James is a singer-songwriter. His music blends acoustic folk and retro-inspired indie rock.
Carl grew up with his brother and drummer, Paul. Raised on there Manchester music scene, he enjoyed time at Oldham Theatre workshop before moving on to work in education and develop his music.
He divides his time between London and the South West, UK.
Music is always a part of life. Inspired by classic rock and the sounds of The Doors, Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground and David Bowie, Carl tries to create retro-sounds and moments to enjoy. It's about bringing people together. Catch him live - dress in black.
